
Learn how to integrate with Google Sheets to instantly track payment data and submissions, forecast sales, use it as a CRM and streamline your workflow. You can also use this integration for lead tracking, sales forecasting, task management, and CRM.

## How it works

A new sheet will be created with the same name as your checkout. Each time a new payment, subscription, or submission is made, it will instantly appear in your Google sheet without any delays or hassle.

You have to activate the integration for every checkout individually.

Once set up, you can:

* Change the name of the sheet

* Move the sheet to a different folder in your drive

* Rearrange columns in the sheet, and the integration will adjust accordingly

* If you add new variants or fields to your checkout, new columns will automatically be added

* You can delete rows (payments)

## How to connect Checkout Page with Google Sheets

Here’s how you can set up the integration:

1.  From your Checkout Page dashboard, click on the checkout you’d like to edit

2.  Open the **Settings** tab and then **Integrations** dropdown

This is how it looks once you have set up the integration.

We recommend that you make a couple of test payments to ensure that everything works as expected.

You can then delete those test payments rows and move columns around in the order of your preference.

In this help article, we'll list the apps that you can integrate with Checkout Page.

Integrations


If you're selling access to webinars, lectures or online festivals, you'll want to invite your customers to the Zoom meeting once they pay.

You can do this by either adding the Zoom meeting link to the email confirmation or by using Zapier to add your customer as a participant to Zoom.

Let's look at each option.

## Add the Zoom meeting link to the email confirmation

This is the easiest option to implement.

1. After scheduling a meeting, webinar or event in Zoom, copy the Join Zoom Meeting link
2. Open your Checkout Page dashboard and click on your checkout
3. Go to the **After payment** tab and open **Email confirmation**

4. Choose **Custom email** and paste your Zoom link into the **Email body**

### Offer multiple options to choose from

**Tip:** Are you hosting multiple events or webinars? Use **Variants** to let customers select a date or timeslot. Then store the Zoom link for each option in the variant option's **SKU** and use a variable in the email confirmation to send your customer the meeting link.

This way your customers will see all the options on your one page checkout.

1. Go to the **Variants** tab and **Add variant**
2. Fill in the details and add Zoom links as the **SKU** for each variant

4. Choose **Custom email** and click on the **+** in your **Email body** to add **Variant name** **SKU** (in this example, the variant name is 'Event date')

## Use Zapier to add your customer as a participant in Zoom

For OptinMonster integration, there is no setup needed within Checkout Page. All setup is done on your own site, where you have embedded your checkout or added the pop-up checkout to.

The OptinMonster tracking script uses Checkout Page\'s callback event to track the revenue as **Click** or **View** in OptinMonster.

## Add OptinMonster script to your site

There are three ways to set it up:

1.  On your site, add the OptinMonster script to any page you want to trigger the OptinMonster campaign.

2.  On your site, add the OptinMonster script to the pages where you’re using the checkout embed or pop-up.

Eduflow is a teaching platform for creating and teaching university courses, online courses, employee onboarding and sales training.

This payment integration lets you add (recurring) payments to your Eduflow courses.

We'll create a one page checkout for your course and set up an automation that invites students to the course once they pay.

## Create a checkout for your course

To charge for access to your course, we'll create a checkout on Checkout Page. This can be a one-time payment or a recurring payment (subscription).

1. [Log in](https://checkoutpage.co/login) to your Checkout Page account. If you don't have an account yet, [sign up here](/signup) and complete the signup process.
2. Go to your dashboard and click **Create checkout**
3. Fill in the details and click **Create checkout**

- If you're selling a subscription, select one of your Stripe subscriptions. If you don't have a Stripe subscription for your course yet, create one.
- If you sell at multiple price points, either create a checkout for each price point, or use [Variants](https://checkoutpage.co/help/articles/how-to-sell-variants) to let your customer select a price option on the checkout.

4. In the **Fields** tab, add a custom field with these settings:

- **Field type**: Text
- **Label**: Name
- **Data type**: Customer name
- Tick **This field is required** and **Save**

## Connect Checkout Page to Eduflow with Zapier

Once someone pays via the checkout we created in Step 1, we want to automatically invite them to our course. To do so, we'll make a Zap in Zapier. We'll make Zapier listen to the **New charge** event from Stripe, and trigger the **Add Participant to Course in Eduflow** action in Eduflow.

This template contains most settings to set up the Zap. You'll connect your Stripe account, connect your Eduflow account and choose the course you want to add students to.

1. Log in to your Zapier account, or sign up for Zapier.
2. Open this template zap and follow the steps.
3. If you're prompted for your Eduflow API key, do the following:

- Open Eduflow
- Go to your **Institution** dashboard, select **Settings** in the sidebar and select **Zapier & AP**I in the menu
- Generate a new API key and click on **Copy to clipboard**
- Go back to the API key prompt and paste in the API key

4. In the **Action**, select the course you want to add students to
5. Keep **Send Email Invitation** to **Yes** to ensure students will receive an invite email once they pay

- If you want to test the integration without being charged, use a Stripe test key to trigger Zapier on test payments.

That's it! You're now able to charge students for access to your course and automatically invite them when they pay. You can add your checkout to your website and social media, or simply send the link to a one page checkout to your students.

Selling Eduflow courses with Checkout Page

All you have to do is to create a one page checkout and add a code snippet from Rewardful. That's it!

## What are webhooks?

Webhooks are automated messages sent from apps when something happens. They have a message—or payload—and are sent to a unique URL—essentially like an app's phone number or address. They’re a simple way your online accounts can “speak” to each other and get notified automatically when something new happens.

Webhooks, unlike an API that is continuously checking if there is new information, only sends new information when an event happens to trigger it.

In the context of Checkout Page, whenever a someone converts at checkout, a message is sent to the webhook URL you've set up. This message contains data related to the event that just happened.

## Use cases

**Give customers access to your software or app**  
When a customer makes a purchase, use webhooks to grant the customer immediate access to your software or app.

**CRM Integration (ActiveCampaign, Hubspot, Salesforce, Zoho)**  
Webhooks can ensure real-time synchronization between Checkout Page and your CRM. When a new subscription or purchase occurs, the customer's details and transaction information are automatically updated in the CRM.

**Event Management (EventBrite, Airtable)**  
When a customer purchases a ticket to an event, a webhook can update the event management system in real time, helping to manage attendee lists, seat allocation, and communication with attendees.

**Notifications (Slack, Microsoft Teams)**  
Get notified of a purchases by setting up an Incoming Webhook in Slack or Microsoft Teams.

## Setup instructions

Setting up webhooks on Checkout Page is straightforward. **Webhooks are linked to individual checkouts**, to make it easy to setup and control.

Follow the steps below:

1. **Log in** to your Checkout Page account and navigate to **the dashboard**
2. Click on the **checkout** you want to setup Webhooks for
3. Navigate to **Settings** and open **Integrations**

4. Under **Available integrations**, locate Webhooks and click on **Add integration** 5. In the pop-up, **enter the Webhook URL**. This URL should be from the application which will process the incoming webhook (for instance, your backend's API endpoint)

5. Save your changes. Your webhook URL will now be listed under Active integrations

That's it! You've successfully set up a webhook. Now, whenever the event you selected occurs, Checkout Page will send a POST request with the event's data to the URL you provided.

## Webhook events

Currently, there is just one webhook event: `conversion`

The `conversion` event happens whenever a checkout is submitted successfully.

In the future, we will add subscription life cycle events such as:  
\- `subscription_created`  
\- `subscription_payment_succeeded`  
\- `subscription_canceled`

## Webhook event payload

The event payload is the data that is sent via the webhook when an event occurs.

Each payload will contain a `timestamp` of when the event occurred, an `event` indicating what type of event occurred, and a `data` object containing the specific details for that event.

Please note that the received data might vary depending on your checkout settings and the products or plans you have.

You can use **Test payments** in the dashboard to simulate the `conversion` event. Use the **livemode** property to distinguish between live and test payments.

Creating automation (Zaps) is pretty straightforward. Most people want to save some payment details (such as date), customer information (such as name & email) and data from custom fields.

Click **Choose an account** and then **\+ Connect a new account**. You can log in with your Checkout Page account email & password.

#### 4\. Test trigger

Select an existing subscription (or payment) to use as a template.

You'll need at least one live (not test) subscription (or payment) in your Checkout Page account.

We recommend temporarily changing the price of your checkout to $1, or using a discount code that lowers the price to $1, and then checking out at to your own checkout.

After you've done so, you'll be able to find the subscription (or payment) in Zapier by clicking **Test trigger**.

#### 5\. Add a filter step (optional)

Currently, this zap will trigger for every new subscription or payment.

You may want to add a Filter Step to limit when this zap will trigger.

For example, if you want the Zap to only trigger on certain checkouts, you can filter by Page Slug.

1.  Click the **+** button to add an additional step and select **Filter**.

#### 6\. Select an action

Move on to the **Action** box, and select the event **Create Spreadsheet Row** (or choose any other action)

#### 7\. Select (or connect) your Google Sheets account

#### 8\. Select the drive, spreadsheet and worksheet you want to store your subscribers in

#### 9\. Select payment/customer details to add to the Spreadsheet

Based on the selected spreadsheet, Zapier will display the rows or columns you can populate with subscriber data. In our example spreadsheet, that's **Email** and **Date**.

By clicking on the field, you'll find all the information related to the subscription.

To access a custom field value, you can type in '**fields**'.

In bold, you'll see **Fields \[reference\] Value**, and in regular text, you'll find the value of that field in your subscription.

In the example below, you would select the last item with the value "**12133@fish.com**"

Repeat those steps for all details you want to add to your spreadsheet.

Here we've selected the email field, and the **Created At** field to store the date the subscription was created.

#### 10\. Test your Zap's action

Test the action to ensure your setup works.

When you click **Test & Review**, Zapier will trigger the event and send the data to your spreadsheet.

You'll be able to go back and make changes if needed.

#### 11\. Publish zap!

Once you're all set up, publish your zap!
