What are ticket types?
A ticket type is a ticket with its own price, quantity, and restrictions. (i.e. General admission or VIP passes).
Ticket types give your guests different options, allowing them to choose the ticket type that fits their needs and budget.
Offering different ticket types allows you to create a ticket price strategy.
With Checkout Page, multiple ticket types can be added to the same event. For example, allowing your guests to purchase 4 General Admission tickets and 1 VIP at the same time.
Popular ticket types
General admission tickets
The most common ticket type is a General Admission ticket.
General Admission tickets are openly available to everyone and are usually on sale for the longest period of time.
General Admission tickets are great for events with unassigned seating.
Luxury tickets (VIP)
Give your guest exclusive access to reserved seating or pass-holder-only areas and privileges.
Normally VIP tickets are more limited than General Admission tickets.
Single or multi-day tickets
Give your guests the option to choose between attending your event for just one day or for the whole event.
Single or multi-day tickets are commonly offered for festivals, conferences, and exhibitions.
Typically, event organizers will offer VIP upgrades with single or multi-day event tickets.
