Yes! Checkout Page is built on top of Stripe, who meets and exceeds the most stringent industry standards for security. Stripe is also audited by a PCI-certified auditor, and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. (This is the highest level of certification available.)
On the Flexible plan, how do you charge the transaction fee?
When a transaction is made, Stripe allows us to take a fee immediately. This means that the amount that shows up in your Stripe account is the amount that's all yours – there are no invoices later.
On the Premium plan, how do you charge the monthly fee?
When a transaction is made, we convert the transaction amount to USD and create a record of the amount. At the end of your monthly billing period we calculate the total volume to determine your monthly price. This means that you will always be billed at the end of your billing period.
On the Premium plan, when does the monthly fee start?
If you're not taking payments yet, you can stay on the Flexible plan until you're ready to take payments. Once you switch to the Premium plan, we start your billing period and you will be charged for the first time a month later.
On the Premium plan, is there a minimum monthly fee?
Yes, on the Premium plan we charge a minimum fee of $10 per month, regardless of whether you made any transactions during this period.
On the Premium plan, what happens when I change to the Flexible plan?
When you change to the Flexible plan, you will stay on the Premium plan until the end of your billing period. Once your billing period ends, we will charge you for the transactions made in the period.
What happens to the subscriptions I've sold when I change plans?
When changing from Flexible to Premium, you will no longer pay transaction fees on ongoing and future subscriptions sold via Checkout Page. When changing from Premium to Flexible, any ongoing and future subscriptions sold via Checkout Page will be subject to a 5% fee per transaction.
What happens if I go over my plan?
If you exceed your plan (+$50,000), we will contact you via email to determine how to proceed. We won't prevent you from taking payments as long as you reply to our emails within a reasonable amount of time (7 days).
